STONEHASH SOLUTION (the "Developer") sets out this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") for how user information is handled in the iPhone and iPad app "Livenue" (the "App") and its official website (the "Site").

1. Basic Policy

The App is a music player that plays your own audio with a live-venue sound. Loading, analysis, and audio processing of audio all happen on your device. Song data, audio data, and the contents of your music library are never sent to an external server. Only when you enter a shared link with "Add from URL" does the App connect directly to the linked service to download that audio file (see Section 3).

2. Information We Don't Collect

The App does not collect or send the following information:

3. Use of the Media Library, Files, and Shared Links

The App uses the following permissions to show and play your songs:

With "Add from URL" in Livenue Pro, the App connects directly from your device to the server at the URL you enter (a Google Drive or Dropbox shared link, or a direct link to an audio file) and downloads the audio file. This connection does not go through the Developer's servers, and the Developer does not receive its contents.

Songs imported from Files or with "Add from URL" and analysis caches are stored only on your device, and are all deleted when you delete the App. The “Livenue” folder is also on your device, and it is deleted along with its files when you delete the App.

4. Information Collected Automatically

To improve quality and fix bugs, the App uses the following services provided by Google LLC. The information they collect does not include song data, music library contents, your name, or your email address. Collected information may be processed in association with a pseudonymous identifier assigned per app installation.

Service Purpose Examples of information collected
Firebase Analytics Understanding and improving how features are used App instance ID, Apple's identifier for vendors (IDFV), events for screen views, feature use, launches, and sessions, product ID, name, and price for in-app purchase events, device model, OS and app version, approximate region estimated from a masked IP address, and the source type (Google Drive / Dropbox / direct link) and file size range for "Add from URL" (entered URLs and file names are not included), and for each listening session: time listened, the share played in Live Mode, the main venue used, the number of songs, the song source type (Music / file), and the screen playback started from; plus usage categories (Free / Pro, the type of audio you use, and approximate ranges for the number of imported songs and setlists) (song titles and IDs that identify songs are not included)
Firebase Crashlytics Detecting and fixing crashes Stack traces at the time of a crash, device model, OS version, app state at the time, and the history of Analytics events to understand the actions leading up to the problem

Collected information is processed on Google's servers. For details, see:

5. Analytics on the Site

The Site uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand usage and improve its content. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect the pages viewed, your browsing environment, and other access information. Collected information is processed on Google's servers and managed under Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics Terms of Service.

You can limit this collection by disabling cookies in your browser settings. For details, see:

6. Information Obtained Through the Contact Form

Submissions from the contact form on the Site reach the Developer through the form feature provided by Netlify, Inc. (Netlify Forms). The Developer obtains only the following information that you enter in the form yourself:

This information is used only to reply to your inquiry and to investigate and fix reported problems, and is never used for sales contacts or newsletters. Submitted data is stored on Netlify's servers (in the United States and elsewhere) and referred to by the Developer to reply. For how Netlify handles data, see the Netlify Privacy Policy.

If you'd like your submission deleted, let us know through the same form. We will delete the data for that inquiry after handling it.

7. Tracking and Advertising

The App shows no ads and does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA). It also does not engage in "tracking" (the practice covered by Apple's App Tracking Transparency) that follows users across other companies' apps and websites. Google Signals and user-provided data collection are not enabled, and there is no link to a Google Ads account.

8. In-App Purchase Information

"Livenue Pro" is a one-time in-app purchase through the App Store. Payment is processed by Apple, and the Developer never obtains or holds payment information such as credit card numbers. Purchase information is referred to only to verify the purchase (including restoring purchases).

9. Retention and Deletion

10. Disclosure to Third Parties

The Developer does not provide collected information to third parties except as required by law. Processing entrusted to Google as described in Sections 4 and 5, and to Netlify as described in Section 6, is done only within the purposes stated in this Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children. The App has no account registration and does not collect contact information such as names or email addresses, except when you enter it yourself in the contact form.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be revised in response to changes in law or the addition or change of features. We will announce important changes on this page.
